What I Ate (07-10 Nov)

For record purpose and to show you what junk I regularly consume XD  I will try taking pics of them when I remember :)  Also, excuse me if I need to mix in Chinese words for the food, I'm not a culinary expert and I don't know every English word or equivalent names for the items I eat.

I love eating healthy food as well as unhealthy stuff, FYI.  (gosh, where is the line of separation or boundary between the two actually?)

Tell me if you think this is interesting to you or not! though even it isn't, I may still continue doing~ Um...

Monday

Bfast/0920: Set meal at a university canteen (a few minutes walk from my office).  Pan-fried chicken fillet + 2 sunny side up with yolk of course + 1 sausage + 1 bite of heavily buttered but cold toast + iced yuanyang 鴛鴦 madarin ducks XD (a very common local drink that is basicaly coffee mixed with milk-tea) with less syrup.

1330: Turtle Jelly 龜苓膏.

1500: Mum-made fish and many other ingredients Soup.  A bunch of carrots, almonds, pork and dried scallop 瑤柱.

1600: 1 mug of Indocafe Cappuccino 5in1 (I like to try different kind of instant coffee).

1715: banana x1 (a normal size one, about the length of my hand, wrist to middle-finger tip - what a description)

1800: 50g packet of Pizza Flavoured Potato Chips.  Super crazily high calorie and sodium and fat I know.  But this taste like heaven to me.  Yum Yum :D

right hand side only
1930: Pre-dinner snack.  As I need to cook (parents out of town), I bought back some sushi and japanese seasoned seaweed to feed the kids (my siblings).  I took some too.

2030: Dinner, Bowl of rice, spare ribs (pork) cooked with vegetable in Korean soy paste - 麵豉韭菜煮排骨.  Not the one with most free time hence no other dish tonight. :(

2200:  Made sushi roll together with littler sister.  Fake crab sticks, cucumber and pickled turnip (yellow-dyed) as ingredients.  The seaweed wrap looks and taste a little funny but turned out alright.  Tried a few piece and pack this as lunchbox for little brother and myself.

Tuesday

0940: Bfast - homemade sushi roll and Good Day Cappuccino.  This coffee is less creamy but still very smooth; it even has some cocoa powder to add, lovely.  I finish my lunchbox by breakfast time.  oops :P

1330:

1500: Korean Crab chips.

1530: 5in1 Cappuccino

1800: Scallop Skirt Snack in spicy kimchi flavour

1930:

Monday Tag

    1. Mood: Gloomy but not down.  Just like the weather, cloudy and drizzling.  (doesn't this sound a little poetic, dreamy and romantic?) :)

    2. If you could dine (for free) anywhere in the world tonight, where would it be?  Any good hotel or oyster bar, indulging in loads and loads of oysters and fresh seafood.  Shrimp Sashimi and scallop are welcome.

    3. Do you have any siblings?  3 younger ones, yes.

    4. If your pets could talk, what would they say about you? Sorry, don't have a pet now.

    5. Which one do you follow most often, your heart or your head? My head leads, my heart follows.  I, look at them, troubled.

    6. What are three songs on your road trip playlist?  Must be something from Shayne Ward.  Or maybe hymns like "We are Companions on the journey, breaking bread and sharing life..." (Companion on the Journey), "Make me a Channel of your peace, where there is hatred let me bring your love, ..." (St. Francis' Prayer)

    7. Would you consider yourself renowned or famous for anything in particular? Procrastination, or Laziness.

    8. Your favorite place for dessert? Old-Pal 老友記 in Mongkok.  They have very fresh fruits for Grass Jelly or Sago in coconut milk.

    9. Scariest movie you’ve ever seen?  Probably forgotten.  Not a fan of scary movies.  Real life itself is scary enough if your sight is clear.  I'd rather suffer watching this world wither than scared myself with blood and violence or specialty make up.

    10. Weekly goals: i) write more blogs ii) make myself pretty for Friday's dinner iii) ensure the household stay in place until parents return from their short trip

Copy and Paste and Do-it-if-you-like.

When Boyfriend is Away

Baby is in Shanghai now, hence:

- woke up at 8am (considered early in my schedule)
- made a porridge/congee with fungi (it only sounds gross, doesn't taste bad)
- worked
- had facial appointment
- emailed a new blogger friend and planned a swap
- discovered a new favourite scent (BBW Riceflower & Shea)
- wore zero make up
- drank 3 cups of coffee and didn't nap during lunch
